• Proof of sufficient funds – bank balance statement of last 6 months, income proof, employment letter or business proof, accountant letter, cash available, accumulation of funds, property, share, bond, any item which can prove you have sufficient funds to travel to Australia; bank statement must show name and address and contact details of bank and if possible get a letter from bank manager with all details of contact of bank manager
• Income tax returns of last 3 years – all pages submitted to income tax dept and assessment notice and tax paid receipt
• Salary slips of last 3 months
• Hotel Confirmation (accommodation confirmation in Australia; details of hotels or motels or premise, phone contact number, address etc)
• If you are a student and applying for visitor visa you must provide letter from your educational institute confirming all your details of study
• If you are self-employed you must provide proof of your business – registration, sole trader or partnership deed or company memorandum of articles and any other proof that will prove your self-employment
• If a minor is accompanying you, you must provide consent letter from parents of minor, No Objection Letter from parents or guardians of minor, form 1229 to be filled in giving all details
• Indian passport holders (passport issued outside India) needs to provide an old passport containing the addresses of India from respective jurisdiction wise
• Travel Itinerary – Booking of return air ticket – dates of travel and names and addresses of places to be visited in Australia
• Visitor Visa Application fee (Govt. Visa Fee) varies depending upon you are applying from outside Australia or within Australia – Exact Govt. visa fee is to be paid at the time of application plus credit card surcharge @1.32% if paid by Visa or Master Card (other credit cards attract more surcharge may be up to 5%).
