Visitor Visa Subclass 600

Check Your Eligibility to apply for Visitor Visa for Australia Subclass 600:

  • What age group you are applying for visitor visa – if you are too young and from high-risk countries, you will be most likely refused visitor visa for Australia. If you are too young and from low risk countries, you are likely to be granted visitor visa for Australia – there is no such list of high risk and low risk countries, however, those from less developed countries such as a few Asian and African and Latino countries will be considered as High Risk Countries and those from developed countries such as countries from Europe, USA, UK, Ireland, Canada, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore will be considered as low risk countries and chances are high to get visitor visa. No guarantee can be given to any applicant as Dept can reject any case without any reason.
  • If you are from middle age group from any country, and if you are well settled with own business or employment in your country and have family partner and children and if you can show good amount of bank balance chances are high to get visitor visa for Australia.
  • If you can communicate in English language and if you have travelled a few countries and return home and if you can provide history of your travel and if you can prove your purpose of travel to Australia, chances are high to get visitor visa for Australia.
  • You must select the most appropriate stream for visitor visa, for example, the purpose is to visit only family, friends, or relatives or for travel purposes you must tick that stream. If you wish to do some business exploration, you must select that stream and comparable way you select other streams mentioned in the application form.
  • Itinerary means your travel plan – where would you arrive in Australia, address and contact details of that place, did you pay for accommodation and do you know anyone in Australia, what date you expect to arrive and what date you expect to leave and how many other places you wish to travel within Australia – do you have invitation letter from someone known to you, in short, you must have properly planned visit to Australia because Australia is costly country and each day can cost you huge amounts of money to stay in Australia.
  • Return Air Ticket Paid, you can book when visa is granted, but as a matter of costs, which Airlines would you select and what would be fare and how would you ensure Dept that you would really have return Air Ticket. No need to book an Air Ticket in advance as otherwise if visa is not granted, you will end up losing money.
  • If you are employed, you must provide employment reference letter from your employer with all details of your employment, pay slips, income tax returns, bank deposits, bank balance, funds accumulation, savings accounts, fixed deposits, house ownership, and any other documentation which will prove your financial ability to travel to Australia and return from Australia.

  • Visitor visa is ONLINE Application, and you must keep documents ready so that you can upload them when required – Govt Visa Fee from outside Australia is AUD$200 and from within Australia is much more than mentioned here so you can think about how costly to apply for visitor visa for Australia.
  • Now several conditions are imposed on visitor visas, such as, no work, only 3 months stay, no further visa, maintain medical insurance, and so on. Temporary visa holders are no more allowed to switch over to student visa so if you breach conditions, you visa will be cancelled and you will have BAN for three years – once BAN is imposed, you will never be able to come to Australia.
  • Australia every year receives 10 million visitors from highly developed countries so Australia is very strict in granting visitor visas to many applicants – this is to avoid inflation as well as sharp increase in prices of commodities – Australia is facing acute shortages of HOUSING and Australia wishes to restrict people extending their stays in Australia and wishes to send them away or do not bring them so that more people go out less will be requirement of Housing and somehow Housing problem can be solved but this approach may not be correct. However, applicants must always keep in mind the circumstances prevailing in the country where they wish to travel.
  • As a Traveler, think of daily costs in Australia – ordinary hotel accommodation will cost you A$200 per day, Food Cost can be A$100 per day (three meals a day), Local or Interstate public transportation may cost A$200 to A$500 or moreand some other costs, it amounts to A$500 per day and for 4 days it will be A$2,000 plus return air fare may be A$2,000 to A$3,000. In all, how will you spend A$5,000 in just 4 days if you compare your currency against Australian Currency. If you visit Bali, Indonesia, it may cost you A$500 for whole week of 7 days/7nights including all costs of food, accommodation and air fare so it will be affordable and lot easy to get visitor visa for Bali, Indonesia, rather than to get visa for Australia. Now think about stronger currencies of Europe, US, Canada, Singapore, U.K., and certainly they will be able to afford the costs of travel due to high rate of their currencies as compared to Australian Dollars so certainly, they would stand more chance to get visitor visa for Australia. Large numbers of retirees are visiting Australia form these developed countries every year so the case with Australian retirees visiting about mentioned countries every year.
